What are you using for scanning? What is the best bang for your buck? I have Auto Enginuiry and thought it was pretty good until I've been seeing others post with their PID'S.
I mainly use Torque Pro on my Droid phone with a cheap eBay bluetooth adapter - I data log with it when I'm looking to analyze something specific, otherwise the gauges I have on my realtime screens are the ones that capture min and max values. I also have Forscan on my Win7 laptop and use a hardwire adapter for it -- but haven't used it much to be honest...

Kid uses Edge Insight..........I hate it, It takes FOREVA to load when you start it and glitches sometimes when you switch between screens.
Pretty disappointing for the money it costs.
I have Torque Pro with the ELM 327 wireless, and Forscan as well for digging deeper.
Edge Insight for gauges only - IDS clone, for diagnostics, is the best bang for the buck, in my opinion. I had AE and sold it. A lot of people use what Mike stated.
Started out with Scangauge II. It's quick and easy for daily monitoring of the basics. Recently started using ELM adapter with Forscan on my iPhone. Forscan does much more and has a nice display but it does take more time to connect and it also drops connection every now and then.
SGII ~$140
Forscan/ELM adapter~$30 (but you need your own pc/tablet/phone).

Reason: add pricing
I use a bafx adapter, torque pro, and forscan. Torque pro drops connection constantly so I use forscan most often. Forscan also reads more things than TP.
Here's what I have in my shops...............for Ford, strictly IDS..............threw the Auto Enginuity junk in the waste bin..............for quick stuff, I use the Innova 5160s that come with all the vehicle adapters........small "shout out" to AUTEL --- all the functionality of Snap-On at a fraction of the price..........I think cheapo versions of the 5160 can be had at Harbor Fake.............
I won't be replacing my Snap-ON scanners since they're largely over-priced, over-hyped..............
