I'm getting a light tinny noise when the a/c is on. Coming from bottom of engine where the compressor. Only at idle. Can’t hear it while driving but while outside the truck it’s loud. If you turn the A/c off it goes away. I’m thinking it’s a bearing in the compressor pulley.
I know some compressors have replaceable pulleys. And some don’t. Can anyone let me know if it’s repacable on these
The compressor pully Bearing spins no matter whether a/c compressor is engaged or not. Possibly compressor shaft bearing as it only makes noise when the shaft is spinning?
