Programmer / Tuner?
hey everyone. I have a new to me 2016 250. I have the 6.7 Diesel and already know I need it to run differently. I only tow a boat once a month. The rest of the time it’s a daily driver around Miami. Any one have suggestions for decent fuel mileage but better shifting?

Ford did the best job it can for mileage and staying within EPA pollution guidelines. It is about as efficient as it can get.Think about what you have. These are large heavy trucks. It takes a certain amount of energy to move them. My 6.5 Chevy, 7.3 Ford and 6.0 Ford never got anything close to what they are getting today. I'm not convinced a chip would be the route to go. You could do more harm in the long run. You could do a dpf delete and it might help but that would void any warranty you have.
