Looking for specific recommendations for shocks with part numbers for a stock 64 F-250 with the 292 Y block. Doesn't seem to be many options available. I have Rancho RS 5000s on my 74 Bronco and like them but seems they don't make them for my 64.....unless someone figured a set out that would work?

I went to 4 Wheel Parts for my 63 f250 4x4. I went with pro comps.Don't bother putting on the right rear boot if you still have the stock exhaust.It loops around the shock but with these newer larger diameter shocks the boot is too close.At least with my y block and flare side bed. The shocks fit great and look good but didnt really make the ride any different and nothing is going to help that arcane steering system but they were a big improvemt over the shocks that were on it when I drove it out of that field where I found the truck. none of the four matched. I'm geared pretty low so it seems like 60 mph is about it for me but with that tractor suspension and steering from a wagon it would be insane to go much faster. the pro comps had better reviews and out performed the ranchos on paper too, for whatever thats worth.Don't get me wrong' my main vehicle is an X5 diesel but I will use any excuse to drive my truck!
