Picked up a new truck last week.
2018 3.5L ecoboost, 3.55, FX4, 36 gal tank, class IV hitch, Integrated Trailer Brake Control, 7000# GVWR, trailer sway control
No trailer tow packages
Best I can tell, according to the manual, which is somewhat ambiguous, the max tow weight (legally) is 5000 lbs....really? Doesn't seem right as that is also the max bumper pull weight.
No you will have a bunch more. You truck is configured that same as mine (except for Max Tow) so I would guess the total trailer weight would be 10700 with a max GCWR of 16100. You can look in this tow guide.
I’ve looked at the specs pretty closely and it seems the big things I’m missing are the trans cooler (I think) and the bigger stabilizer bar. I’ve read stuff about a heavier bumper but that I still can’t confirm for this year. Obviously the power train can handle the load. The bigger stabilizer bar can be added easily, not sure about the trans cooler though. I’ve read some 3.5L ecoboosts have it stock, I haven’t looked at mine yet though.
Don't Think you get the Auxiliary Trans Cooler Without Trailer Towing Package and Max Tow,The Transmission oil Cooler is on the bottom of the Transmission
Kind a like a Heat Exchanger, To put one on After market is Costly some have done it here, That's why you have the Air Spoiler under the front Valance.

Your ok to tow more than 5000 pounds without the aux trans cooler. Legally it's all about gvwr, axle and tire ratings. You just can't pull a big travel trailer, (aka, sail) at highway speeds according to Ford. There are threads that discuss this in detail, to include the addition of the factory cooler and the cost. But I'm not sure of the cost of adding a cooler to a 2018, as it mounts different from older trucks.

I'm pretty sure every 3.5L TT with the 10-speed transmission gets the transmission cooler. The spec sheet still shows "TBA" but the only thing that the towing guide calls out is the radiator upgrade.
Also, Tuxedo - the only legal limits are the axle and GVW ratings on the door sticker. GCWR and Tow weight are warranty and marketing numbers, but don't have any legal effect. As long as you are under your axle limits and GVWR on the truck you're legal. I agree with the poster above who said 10,700 lbs - every 3.5L + rear end combination gets that number in the towing guide, except for the HDPP trucks.
