Crank no start

Crank no start
2000 ranger high miles crank no start. Will start with throttle body cleaner but then dies. Inertia switch and relay switch seams to be working .any other ideas before I drop the tank? 3.0 4x4 ext

whoa killer! Have you put a code reader on it and seen whats going on?

Make sure there is spark at one of the spark plug and then all you will need is fuel. Listen for the electric fuel pump when you turn on the key. If you hear that, check fuel pressure at the fuel rail.

I don't hear the fuel pump when I turn on the key

check fuel pump relay under hood in power box,,swap it with horn relay or another working relay

I would lean towards needing to drop the tank, or just move the bed, either way, remove and replace the faulty fuel pump.
