This horn ring was on my '49 F1 when purchased earlier this year. Why? Who knows. The steering wheel was in pretty bad shape, but the ring, with a little polishing effort, is in VG condition. I visited various websites and understand the gear and lightening bolt logo was used in 1953 trucks and forward. The horn rings I found on-line all had a removable center cap, while this one is solid metal. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
