Anyone one have this happen to them. I installed this a few years ago and last year I noticed dripping out the bottom of the doors and cab corners. I took the interior panels off to find this.
Wow and that is not the cheap stuff . I will be very interested in your replies also as many have said don't use the cheap hardware store stuff , spring for the good stuff . Did you use anything else under it or just the Eastwood .

I would imagine that Eastwood is going to be very proactive in resolving this issue. This is the sort of thing that will severely impact the brand name.
When I sent this link to a truck buddy he informed me that another club member had used the same Eastwood product in his 55 panel...with the same results. He said that Eastwood refunded his money. I don't know about anybody else but I would need more compensation than a refund of purchase price before I felt whole. What a mess.
that is terrible and lots of extra work now, the refund money will not pay for your time.-- I always use cool it from sumitt--stick it on and I put my heat gun to it and it forms in all the grooves and never NO problems with it and it insulates GREAT--
This is not the first time I heard about this with the Eastwood production. I have it in my panel too and heard about it after the fact. I contacted Eastwood and they said I'd have no problems. I did use aluminum tape on all seams and haven't noticed any drippings. I had a few sheets left over and installed it in my pickup at the sides of the rear window and hadn't put the aluminum tape to seal the edges and noticed the same problem. I would never use it again and like it was mentioned it isn't cheap regarding the price of it..
I would be concerned with any headliner - panel that is a paper material as the tar on the mat is almost certainly a petroleum base and will bleed though any fiber material .
At least you got money for the product they could have told you to go pound sand.
I also have not heard of any one giving extra money for labor only money for the part.
After seeing that I am happy I went with DynaMat.
