Oil pressure readout ??
Hey I have a 2011 5.0L and was wondering if there’s a way to get a oil pressure readout from the motor without adding a aftermarket Gauge. Would a chip with a on screen display be able to tell me anything more ?

I just checked using my SCT X4. There's nothing for oil pressure. I'll check later tonight when I have more time using FORscan but don't get your hopes up. My understanding is that Ford does not use proportional output oil sensors in these trucks; the only thing looking at oil is a low pressure switch.

Nope, these engines don't have any kind of sensor that can report oil pressure. They use a switch that closes around 5 PSI if I remember right, which simply tells the PCM if the engine has pressure or not. You'll need an aftermarket gauge to get any more info than that.
