A few months back, I had an issue with a slight 'shutter' in reverse - only happened while under load. Now, under load I get a VERY evident 'shutter' coming to a stop forward or in reverse. The back end bounces pretty good. The wife thinks I am ignoring it intentionally since it makes things inside bounce too
Does this sound like a sticking caliper sliding pin? I do plan to grease them this weekend.
If you have an IR thermometer you can shoot the temps on the wheels after a drive, that should tell you something about what's going on with the brakes.
Possible u-joint as well. I had one go out on my truck and it was really evident when slowing down.
Thinking this may be it now. I read another member chased it down to u-joint in rear drive shaft as well.
I did grease all my slide pins and thought I cured it until last night it reared it's big ugly head coming to a stop light. Rotors looked as good as could be, so looks like a drive shaft rebuild is in my future.
