fuel tank

Do what I do. Fill both tanks, run the front one out first and wacth the rear OR get ready to spend a lot of money.

No, no, no. very simple.... check that voltage is going thru the Dark Blue/Yellow wire from the front tank. First check at the connection back by the tank for a rusty, corroded, dirty, or loose connection. If no voltage is coming from the tank, check for continuity of it and the black wire from the front tank to the connection where it meets the black wire from the rear tank. If all wires check OK for continuity but no voltage thru DB/Y, then it is the guage sending unit. Run the tank out of gas, drop the tank, and replace the sending unit. No Problemo!!
