Reccomendations for drop hitch.
Anyone have any recommendations on a good 2.5” adjustable ball mount that will work with 2.5” rocktamer and has up to 8” of drop?
i only need 2” and 2 5/16” *****. It would be nice if the ball mount didn’t rattle....or had provisions to limit rattle.
i like the weigh safe variant but have read that it rattles a lot.

Im not sure how you would avoid rattle...the ball mount itself will rattle in the hitch sleeve.
Currently i use a pintle hitch setup with a 2 5/16 ball mounted on it. I actually had a shop cut the bottom of the mount off because there was way more adjustment than i would ever use.
But to adjust height requires removing the four bolts.

Not sure if it will work on the rock tamers but this is a really strong and well made hitch with anti rattle.

Pulled the trigger on a weigh safe 8” drop hitch.
Theres not not many options that have enough space for the rock tamer mount.
ill post pictures once I install this weekend.
considered the curt but don’t like the double ball. Too worried about it contacting the ground or other items on the farm.
