But the 1992 uses 3 digit codes. It did run but not well at all. Caps come in tomorrow so I'll install them and hope for the best.

Ford started to transition from two to three digit codes starting in 1991. It would not be unusual for your truck to display two OR three digit codes. Based on your erroneous 331 and 33 codes, a typical mis-reading of the code flashes, I would not be surprised with your two digit codes.

Profile Ignition Pickup (PIP) aka Stator. It's located inside the distributor. The computer uses that signal to fire the ignition and pulse the injectors.
