Hi working on finishing a 7.3 idi swap that someone else started. Figured out most things but looking for help identifying 3 plugs and what they connect to.
1. (currently on right front of driver's side)
2.
3.
#3 looks like a 3G alternator plug, but I could be wrong. Look down the wire and see if the PO spliced in that connector. If it's original (and not spliced), then this must be a newer IDI probably from a '93 or '94. But if it's spliced in, then the PO upgraded the original 1G alternator to a 3G or something better.
As for the others, I don't know, because I'm an IDI van expert. I don't know much about the trucks.
Where are plugs #2 and #3? The pics clearly show that #1 is next to the driver's valve cover but I have no idea where the others are. Are they along the frame? I see one of the tires in the pic. I @$$ume you have the fenders or bed removed from the truck.
It is in an early Bronco frame now, number 2 and 3 are currently on the left front passenger's side. Number 1 is on the front of the motor top area near valve cover.
