Some progress.....
Well, after an 8 hour stint with the DA sander I removed multiple layers of paint off the hood inner one outer surfaces. Two coats of epoxy and what a difference to both the hood and me!! A litttle nearer my goal of having the body painted this year.....

I had 7 coats of paint on my '63 1/2 Fairlane 500 and used aircraft paint stripper to remove them all. It took three attempts to get them all off but what a nice job it did. I put layers of newspaper under the car so all I had to do was roll it up and dispose of it.
