Need help with a 350 build

Will the front clip from a 1996 350 work on a 1988 can?

Vague much? Pretty hard for someone to say yes or no without knowing what you have. From what I’ve seen the several threads on here the core supports are different between gas and diesel and it also changed when the body style changed.

EDIT: Is that car or van?

I've seen bricknose trucks (like your 88') converted to the obs front end, and believe you can indeed use the obs parts.

More detail will likely yield input from more experienced people.

yes, the 96 nose will bolt to a 88 frame, but you will need to use the COMPLETE NOSE.
and you will have to modify the frame mounts to make the bumper fit correctly.
