Shock measurement
Can any explain how the easiest way to measure for shocks after I lowered 55 f100? My shocks measure eye to eye on level ground front 13.5 inches and rear is 12.5 inches with all wheels on ground..thanks

I’m pretty sure you measure the distance from mounting point to mounting point with the vehicle wheels not touching the ground (unsprung weight) and the distance you have between the axle limiter/ snubber and add that to your 13.5” or 12.5.
What you’re looking for is extended and compressed lengths. You probably won’t get something exact but you definitely don’t want to go long on your compressed length. You want the snubber to take the impact not your shock.
