i completely agree... The 8 ball was an impulse buy from goodwill for 2.99 (new in the package!) and is towards the limit of what i would add. I personally like the "tasteful but not overdone" approach. I've seen grenade shells used as 4wd ***** before, and they look BA. A friend of mine used a caterpillar wrist pin for his 4wd, and that was pretty cool too.
I was actually considering it now, but I can't find where I put the thing!

...i know the struggle, lol. Do you have a mil surplus store to find another one? Between those and rummage sales, you never know what kind of cool stuff you might find.

Probably, but it would be much neater to use the one I found as a kid!
I'm sure I've got it somewhere, likely up in the attic.
Your M26 is available and the Mark !! like I used is also. The Pineapple to me is a real recognizable grenade but it has to be in OD.
When I find it, I'll toss up a photo. Mine is missing the plug lid and all that, obviously, but I'm okay with that. Just the shell alone would make for a cool/comfy ****.

I've lived on many military bases growing up, and you could find things where you wouldn't expect them!
These are all really cool. I like the simple ball with the shift pattern the best. For some reason, i couldn't get the top link to work though. It makes me wonder how much people can spend on some of these.
