What is that light for???

Hi, I was wondering if anyone knew what the small round indicator light is for that is located on the dash below the ignition. I have a 1970 and there is just an open hole where I believe one should be. I am down to the small details phase of my Bronco's restoration and if there should be a light there then I would like to get one. Any info?

i believe youre talking about the brake warning light.

Thanks Jeff, but do you or anyone else happen to know what it warnes of spacifically in the brake system?

Say your rear lines were open. There is a valve that moves when it sees the pressure difference. That causes the light to come on. It is a pain to adjust.
