I have a bone stock 2016 F-250 6.7 with 26k miles and have several issues. Of course the local dealer said nothing is wrong however when I pulled it in to the dealership the service advisor noticed the engine noise.right away
1. Whining noise at idle
2. Lack of power on acceleration and boost gauge only going 1/4 of the way
3. Engine sounds like the exhaust brake is on when coming to a stop
4. Fuel mileage is up and down constantly
I am assuming they are just saying it's OK and hope that it doesn't fail before the warranty is expired
UPDATE: Dealer called and after the tech drove it he determined it is a bad turbo. Should I be worried about any damage that was done to the engine or plugged DPF running it like that?
