Skyjacker coils

Has anyone tried the Skyjacker 2.0-2.5" Softride coils? Curious as to how they ride and how much exactly if lifted. Also interested in hearing about the ReadyLift 2.5 coil. I would love to get the Carli coils but from what I understand they are for the diesel and will lift the gas truck 3.5 inches which is an inch to tall for my current set up.

I emailed readylift and asked what their spring rate was on their leveling coils and they told me they didn’t know the exact number but said it would be rated to the softest stock softess ford offered. So 5200lbs I’d assume. They also said they outsource their springs.

Called both Skyjacker and ReadyLift. Both didn't really have any information on springs rates or anything else, but gave the indication that they'd ride stiffer than stock. So its back to the drawing board looking for a spring with progressive rate that is built for the 2017 6.2 gas truck...

You're not going to find one. I've been looking for a good true suspension level (no blocks/spacers) for the gasser for over a year and a half with no luck.

You can go with a coilover design (like King coilovers) which can get you whatever amount of lift you desire, but it's going to cost big bucks $$$$.

or

Rough Country makes a 1.5" level coil for diesels that will hopefully only give 2" - 2.5" lift on the gasser. Then you can pair those coils with some nicer shocks to hopefully achieve a better ride.

So far those are the best two options I've found, and I've been searching for a long time.

Thanks for the info man, I do appreciate it. I think I am going to call Rough Country tomorrow and see what they have to say about it. I might just order the 1.5 inch springs and see how they do. Springs are easy enough to change. I wouldn't even mind if they only lifted it 2 inches. If they absolutely don't work, I'll just go back to the stock spring and spacer. Or maybe just have custom coils made...

Thanks again

Carli makes a very nice lift with progressive springs and Fox shocks. It also has all the goodies to keep the factory alignment.

Problem with the Carli coil is that it is designed for the heavier diesel engine. I've talked to Carli and they said that they have never tried the coil on the 6.2 gas model but that it would more than likely lift the truck 3-3.5 inches. Thats too high for my current set up, I need 2-2.5" lift
