9th gen parking break

Does anybody know of a good "how to" for installing a parking break in a 9th gen (1992) f250? Mine has been disconnected since I bought the truck and I have no idea how they work, thanks.👍

What in the parking brake system broke? Are there parts missing?

It looks like there is a section of cable missing from the pedal. The two rear cables are still there and look to be fine. I need to dig into it some more to see what's going on on the inside. The seller told me he could never get it to work so I initially assumed something broke but I'm wondering if he just never tried to fix it.

Possible front cable and/or pedal assembly broken.

Make sure the rear rear cables aren’t seized and also check the adjusters inside the drums.

Not to hijack this post. But, trying to get parking brake fixed on a friends 96 f250. Left rear cable was broke at the drum. Got the drum off. Looks like all the internal parts for the parking brake are missing. Suggestions on where I can get the internals? Havenít looked at right side yet.
