name this part

hey guys i was trying to replace my rear axle u-joints and messed up. i was wondering what is the name of this part i think its the rear axle yoke?

I will call it Fred.

I think the technical name is driveshaft flange.

Driveshaft Flange.
The other end is the Driveshaft Yoke.

now do i have to buy the whole axle to get this part? or where can i find one?

i think it might work 95 f150 8.8 axle

Junk yard. Can buy a whole driveshaft for under $50, or you can use a hammer and couple sockets to remove the flange in the yard. If you need the truck ASAP, I would say run the flange as is until you can get a replacement.

yea i have been calling around the junk yards and they said that i need to buy the whole axle to get the flange but i think they where thinking something else. so i guess i will go in person tomorrow.

Maybe revolver,or rotatory would be more appropriate than Fred, but Sally sure has a nice ring.

This is for a 1959/66 F100/250 4WD coupling shaft (front driveshaft) to transfer case.

Post #11: This is the companion flange located on the rear axle with 8.8."

OP: Does your '95 F150 have 4WD?
