I did search but blame old eyes or crs. Is there a chart with the frame dimensions? Between F150 and a F250 of a given year is the metal thicker and C section taller? Thanks

Among the 4X2 models, the frame on an F-250 will be substantially thicker than the frame on either an F-150 or F-100.
I've always heard the frames between 1/2 tons and 3/4 and 1 tons were different, not just with Ford's. I've personally measured a 78 ford 150 4x4 and 79 250 4x4 frame with calipers, and they were the same thicknesses and section height. I wanted to use the rear frame off the 150 on my 250. I've also measured 94+ dodge ram frames and they are the same, even tough everyone says the 3/4 ton+ are thicker. None of those ford dimensions linked to note any variance in thickness.
As they say, YMMV. I measured frame thickness on a '76 F-100 4X2 and a '76 F-150 4X2 and found them to be equal at 1/8" I then measured a '77 F-250 4X2 Camper Special and found the frame thickness to be much greater than the two '76s.
I was hoping to use the front frame horns of the '77 to repair frame damage on the '76 F-150 but they were larger in both thickness and height.

My buddy has a '85 Ramcharger, he bought a 4x4 Cummins, '91-'93 IIRC, he found the frames identical except for thuckness. He cut both frames under front seats and swapped both out, '85 Cummins Ramcharger with 3/4 suspension and an early 90's 1/2 ton flatbed with 360/727.
