Bizmic is a legend on this site. Whenever I have the honor of him answering one of my questions, I immediately go do exactly what he told me. I'm having a starter issue as well - cranks reallllllll slow, but eventually starts. New batteries. Flood truck. I'm thinking the started soaked up salt water. But I'm going to run down Mark's list first. Exactly the info I was looking for.

Where'd you find that $450 starter? Thought I'd check prices before I go get dirty and all the ones I see are about $100. Does the dealer charge that much? Or did a tech charge you several hundred to install?
