I am putting a 2 speed mark VIII fan on my truck. I have a new aluminum rad also. I have the Volvo fan controller and a 70 amp relay to put behind it. I am stuck on what temperature sensor to run. I currently have a 190 degree thermostat in it.
What is the ideal temperature sensor to run with a close to stock 429? I was going to grab the BMW high one, I think low cuts in at 195, high speed cuts in at 210 degrees? I am just trying to figure out if I need to go to a 180 Stat, and run the BMW sensor. Or should I go with something that kicks in at a higher temperature.
