Mark VIII temp sensor

I'm looking to get a temperature sensor for my Mark VIII. I run a 165 degree t-stat. I was looking for one for 195 degree temp sensor.

What would I need to accomplish all of this?

The fan is a dual speed.

I've research and know I need a relay but don't know exactly what amps (65 amps?)

Why are you running a 165 degree thermostat? For optimum performance, fuel economy, and engine longevity use a stock thermostat not a colder one. All that will do is make the computer think the truck is cold and it will run rich.

I don't have a computer THANK GOD. My Bronco is a 1979...

Engine is a 460 bored .30 over with flat top pistons and a stockish cam with a Weiand stealth intake and regular manifolds.

Um, doesn't a Mark VIII have a Modular overhead cam motor? I think you mean Mark V, right? Look up a fan swap thread. Maybe in the FSB forum. That should get you headed in the right direction.
