2000 Factory AC Fan Issues
As the title says, the problem started a couple of months ago. I have a 6 cylinder E150 with front and rear air. I do not use the rear since the van is partitioned off.
Front AC fan works fine just cruising around but when the accelerator is pushed down to speed up, the AC motor cuts off. Air comes back when I let off the gas.
Would this indicate a vacuum problem of some sort?
Has anyone ever run into this before? Thanks

Sounds like a classic case of failed check valve/vacuum canister.
Im very surprised that JWA is suggesting otherwise.
Ive had two Ford vans with this exact thing. Never fixed either one lol.
