max ac fan
There is no difference in he operation of the a.c. on the a.c. setting and the max setting.The fan blows the same.Is it the switch,fan,or vacuum.Where and how do i correct the problem?this is on an 1995 ford aerostar van,183 3.0 thanks for any input.

I am sure that the only difference between A/C and Max A/C is that the air is recirculated on Max A/C. Just A/C uses outside air. You may or may not hear a difference in the fan speed. Where you should notice is when you are stopped behind someone at a light and you can smell his fumes. With Max A/C you will not.

My 96 w/4.0 originally blew extra hard when you went to Max A/C. For some reason, it quit blowing the extra air, now no diff than regular AC position on the switch. I found that's OK, in smoggy CA. Why recycle the diesel fumes from the bus in front of you? I'm assuming it is a switch condition, not vacuum, as I don't pull in outside air in the MAX position.
