a couple months ago I had a mast cyld r&r the new one came w/ a 3rd. port which was not needed,new unit came w/ rubber plugs the person that put in the unit didn't want to put in the rubber or plastic plug instead he put Teflon tape on a galvanized bolt and used that instead, will this be ok or will it contaimainate the brake fluid? also he used a compression coupling and I know that is a no no
