'91 E-150 door panel removal

I recently inherited a '91 E-150 van conversion - drove if from Toronto to northern California in 4 days and it ran like a charm. But, being 12 years old, the speakers in the driver side and passenger side doors are shot - distorted radio for 2750 miles was sure a trial. Any hints on how to get the door panels off - that seems the only way I can get to the door mounted speakers. I've checked a few manuals covering this model and there is a lot of information about all sorts of things - but I haven't found anything on how to get at these speakers.

Any pointers?

there are 4 or 5 screws on the bottom panel, and one in the arm rest. remover those, then if you have window cranks, remove them as well. after that, just start pulling the panel away from the door starting from the bottom. there are pop-in style plastic "rivets" that hold the panel to the door. dont re-use these things. . . they never seem to work right the second time around, so get replacement ones from the dealer.
