I have a 460 with a automatic trans but I am converting it to a manual. I bought a np435 but the input shaft is to long. I am hoping somebody has a solution.
I think it was on a six cylinder the splines are 10. The size where the bearing rides is -.670 and the size of the splines is 1.8. I am having trouble finding this problem anywhere.

What is it that you have?...the measurements you posted, the measurements I posted, or 1 of the 3 input shafts that number dummy posted?
Was, what you think is a six Cylinder an I or V6 ? Was it even a Ford 6 cylinder or maybe a dodge or a chevrolet ?
Did your NP435 come from a Ford, dodge, chevy, an old bread delivery truck, maybe it came from an industrial aircraft tugger??? I have no idea!
Point I'm trying to make, is that the NP435 comes in many configurations & applications.
