I don't own an older Ford truck, but I'd like to put some old style on the flatbed I'm going to install on my'03 F250. Does anyone know of a place that makes decals of the "Ford Truck" script that were a part of the old flatbeds, or have a pattern I could use to paint the script on?

I kind of asked the same thing, decal or stencil, as all I could find was the scrip in a colored oval.
I wanted it for a tail gate as I was thinking of adding that to a newer (81 F100 flare side) flat tail gate.
The closes I came was to get the size, don't remember it now and don't remember where I put it on my PC, and was thinking I could take that and a picture of the scrip to a sign place and have them make one for me.
If you can find someone with a truck of what you are looking for and if they let you a little paper and the side of a crayon to trace the size & pattern then take it to a sign shop.
I ended out getting the stock tail gate the has the FORD letters on it.
Good luck on the search and post up what you come up with.

Try hitting some of the local car shows if there are any in your area. Look for cars with Kustom style pinstripes. A good pinstripper should be able to replicate the script for you as long as you provide a picture. And since originality isn't an issue, they can do it to whatever size looks best for your application.
I've done some estimating and scaling with a picture of someone's flatbed and fatfender's AutoCad drawings to make a stencil. I also have a decal on order that goes to a Ford tractor that looks to be the right approximate size. I appreciate the car show idea too! I'll post pics once I get it figured out in the next week or two.
See if anyone has a rotted out tailgate they would cut the script from and weld it in. Is the script from a jailbar hood too small? I have about six hoods, one's smashed up front I'd do that if you want it. Cheap to ship too.
If I remember correctly, the Ford script on the late 8N fenders is about the same size as the tailgate script. Decals for those are available thru Ford tractor restoration suppliers. A sign shop should be able to cut some from vinyl adhesive lettering material for you, in about any size you might want.
