Cab Mounts
Got a '96 F-250 CCLB 4x4 with a 4" lift and it rides like a dump truck. I knew you never going to get a awesome ride out of a 3/4 ton with a straight axle but my ride is terrible. I put on Rancho SX9000 shocks hoping to help and didnt really notice a difference. But I think I finally might have found out my problem - the driver side cab mount is completely rusted out and non existent. You can rock the truck back and forth slowly with the mirror and the cab will move and the bumper won't. Anybody had this problem and how did you replace the brackets for the mounts?

you said F250 and straight axle. F250 came with TTB dana 50. if it has a Dana 60 straight axle in it, the person that put the axle in probably left the TTB F250 springs up front. they are stiff as all get out, and will never give you a good ride.
F350 springs are softer and will ride a lot better. .
