74' F100

I am looking to upgrade my truck brakes from drums to disk breaks. Are there any suggestions on the proper way of doing them? I appreciate all suggestions

I thought F100 got discs in '73, I'll take your word for it though.

Beginning 1973 F100 2WD = Manual disc brakes were standard equipment, power disc brakes were optional

Front disc brakes were not available for F100/250 4WD until 1976.

I also have a set of front disc brakes off of my 1977 with the bog bolt pattern, and some from a 1981 with the small bolt pattern.

Thanks i guess i forgot to mention it was 4WD. I just purchased the truck from my wife grandfather and it runs good but all the break lines are cracked

About any front dana 44 axle with disks from any make will swap as long as you swap everything from knuckles out. This includes the 3/4 ton 8 lug d44's as well. But only in the straight axle variety. The independent 4wd D44's have different angles for the knuckles. But you can even swap Chevrolet or Dodge everything from knuckles out if that was what you found. This swap is common and can even be found brand new now.
