How to reset TPS?
How do you reset a TPS after replacement? 1997 f150 4.6 vin 6. Thanks!

I didn't know they had TPMS on the F-150 back in 1997, learn something new every day.

Disconect the battery for a couple of minutes it should erase any codes stored.

There is nothing to reset for the TPS (Throttle Position Sensor). The PCM checks its position every time when you start the engine and it scales the readings from there.

This assumes, of course, that the TPS is properly installed and is not defective or incorrect for the application.

Sorry read it wrong when I saw TPS I thought of the tire pressure system.
