X-plan is 0.4% below invoice price plus $275 dealer doc fee. One of the advantages of X-plan is it caps what the dealer can charge for doc fee. Some dealers use the practice of offering a low purchase price then adding in several hundred dollars is doc fee.

Where I live dealer doc fees are $85 and most will sell bellow invoice, so X plan wouldn't be much of a deal here.

While I dont see the best pricing in the country here, we are lucky to have a very small dealer doc fee ($85). I think all dealers will offer you extended warranty, maintenance plan, GPS tracker, but it's easy as saying nope, not interested. X plan here wouldn't make sense, $800-1k under invoice is fairly easy to get, and more is possible and not uncommon. Got $2500 under invoice on my 19, first week in may, MSRP a little under $73k.

I just go home after purchasing a 2019 F150 without X-Plan even though I am X-plan eligible. The dealer fees were an outrageous $1,096.95 ($799.95 "Doc Fee" + $296.50 "Handling fee) The fees were a ripoff BUT I negotiated a dealer discount of $10,467 plus rebates of $10,250 ($8,250 factory rebates + PCO of $2500)
I put $5,000 on credit card to get points, wrote a check for $11,500 and financed $10,000 so I could the $750 credit rebate. Got a $44,550 MSRP F150 XLT S/C w/302A package. I'll be paying off the loan next week. SO I got a $44,000 MSRP F150 for $26,500 out the door. Not bad.

I ran the numbers yesterday so here is the deal:
Invoice -.4% + a user charge I think it was $250...but you get the $1000 bonus money, but it cannot be stacked with your PCO I had one + I got Ford loyalty money or something for $1000 =$3500 below Invoice
So the better price was to take the dealer straight invoice price - $3500 +TT&L ONLY...which comes out to approx MSRP when you drive out.

You can use a PCO and all public incentives with X plan. So you can do X plan + PCO + Ford customer cash that is active now. They even have a $500 rebate active now for X plan buyers, so X plan rebates are $1,500 right now, plus any PCO you can land. Plus as stated above it caps the doc fee...that averages 600 where I live, so there's another $500 saved in my area.

That is true BUT dealers in Florida charge huge dealer fees if you purchase without X-Plan. With X-Plan dealer fees are limited to a max of $100.

Sorta, kinda, maybe. As I sat down at the Ford computer to see I was shocked when he typed in my name and up comes what I am elgible for. Its done by Zip code and in my Zip I don't get eligible for a heck of a whole lot. Ford and I guess most have figured out just like Willie Sutton did...WIllie, why do you rob banks? "Because that is where the money is". So there is a drawback to living in a Zip that is extremely affluent...just not sure how I got in the door.

The actual PCO offers will notify you almost instantly via email after submitting your info. Hopefully this somehow triggers something, that then triggers a PCO for you.
