$3K PCO > Now $2.5K ECO - Exclusive Cash Offer - (some say Elusive)

If I assume you got all $3k in factory rebates plus the $2500 PCO, that means the dealer discount is something like $5100. On an MSRP like that, they would be selling to you at barely a couple hundred under invoice. Once again, not a good deal on a 19, even if this wasn't the end of year.

Same here Don.
Flyct, it’s simple.
Any dealer doing 2K under on a new order does it as either as a favor or as part of another deal. For me, I did a fair, dealer/customer trade for our Expedition which had nice rebates and a PCO attached, and I piggybacked the deal with a 2K under price on a clean deal 2020 SD order.
To get 2K off won’t work for someone walking in the door and asking, unless it’s a stock unit that is collecting dust. But, I would say that aggressive dealers will split the holdback to make a sale.
I have a small Ford dealer across the street from my business, but ownership thinking is stuck back in 1970 where they think every deal must be huge profit maker....and they wonder why local customers go to other dealers for their Ford vehicles.

- Built the truck on the Ford website exactly how I wanted it.
- Looked up as many dealers within an acceptable range to me and either found the internet sales manager email from their website, or filled out the "Contact us" form asking for the internet person.
- Emailed all the dealers (I think I sent out about 12-15 emails) with a PDF of my build sheet. Told them I was sending it to many dealerships, and wanted to give them the opportunity to provide a quote. Told them I wanted to place an order by the end of the month. Additionally:
- Quotes should be for the exact specifications shown, no extras and no deletions.
- Quotes should be an out-the-door price, and include deaker selling price, all dealer added fees, shipping, handling, taxes, title, fees, and any applicable rebates/incentives, etc.
- Quotes should be their very best and final. I'd be comparing the quotes I received and narrowing the field to a final selection.
- If selected, I’d need the quote in writing when we place the order and I’d place a deposit ($1K).
- Any new applicable incentives offered by Ford prior to taking delivery that can be applied will not cause their offered selling price to increase, but could potentially lower the out-the-door price quoted.
- I do not have a trade-in.
- I will not be financing.
- I will take delivery as soon upon arrival as possible so that it will not need to sit around on the lot (saving them overhead costs).

Looks like a good deal to me. If I'm correct on the math, they gave you around $9750 off + rebates. Plenty of dealers wouldn't be as generous on an order. I'm in a state that doesn't add that freight back on the end, but I understand that is normal in other states. So if I was trying to make a comparison to maybe some local deal, an $8200 dealer discount would be about the same. Just mentioning that because it's good to consider things like that when comparing deals in other states.

Why would I do that, you're the one asking if it's a good deal. You want me to assume what rebates you got and do the reverse math? You might also have $750 aged inventory, none of that matters to me. The dealer discount is the only thing that varies, everyone gets the same factory rebates.
If I assume you got all $3k in factory rebates plus the $2500 PCO, that means the dealer discount is something like $5100. On an MSRP like that, they would be selling to you at barely a couple hundred under invoice. Once again, not a good deal on a 19, even if this wasn't the end of year.
