Well, finally had time to install the Readylift add-a-leaf and Rancho RSX5000 on the truck yesterday. The advertised lift was 1.5" and after driving around I measured it today at 2.5" of lift.......
Setup is Rough Country 2" lift struts in front, Readylift add-a-leaf with Rancho shocks out back, 285/70/17 tires on American Outlaw wheels.
The front was leveled off before I bought it and I couldn't stand the saggy rear end. I wanted a little firmer ride and increased spring capacity out back hence the choice for the add-a-leaf.
Ride is firmer than before, but some of that, or probably a lot of that was the blown out factory shocks. I'll give it a few months and some towing with my boat before I decide to bring the front end up a little or not. I found a place that has 1/2" strut spacers for me to get the full 2.5" of front end lift that most people do. I think I like the way it looks, but I had no factory reference point, so I think it might have a little MORE rake than factory? Let me know what you think.
First pic is before, it was parked on a slope up towards the rear so it looks perfectly level but it was about 1/2" lower in the back. The next two are after.
Looks fine to me but I haul a decent bit of stuff. I don't like the leveled look because any weight in the rear makes the steering light and nose high.
I threw the boat on it and it barely even squatted....so definitely some added payload capacity there. It settled to around 2” of total lift so I may get the 1/2” front spacer and get the full 2.5” of front lift and bring the truck up a little. I do like the rake, it’s just a hair more than I wanted. Can’t take the factory rear block out or that would put me going the wrong direction. I want to run 35s on it without having to do a full 4” lift so that’s my only real options. I’m getting there where I like it. Just takes some tweaking.

Be careful. Changing suspension parts does not increase payload.
