So i’ve been scouring the inter webs and my manuals but can’t same to find the wiring group in the picture. It plugs into a blank slot on the back of the dash near my 12v power port.
This is on my 2000 F350 XL with a 7.3 and 4R100.

Thats for the passenger airbag switch. Is you truck a crew cab? If so they do not put the switch there as small children should not be in the front seat of a crew cab. My 2002 F350 has that plug as well with no switch.
It's pretty common to find dead headed connectors in the dash; Ford builds a limited selection of harnesses and at some point they come with all the gizmos; whichever options plug in, do, and the ones that aren't there don't.
