Hello, I am new to the site and have looked around but have not yet found anyone with the same problem as mine. If I missed it, my apologies.
I have a 2007 Expedition, 5.4L, high mileage, 320,000kms (about 200,000 miles) that the fuel pump went on. Before this I had no problems. Changed the fuel pump, now when engine is cold it fires right away, after it warms up, driving for about 15-20 minutes or more, it does not like starting. Turn the key to crank over and it will just crank and no fire. But, if I cycle the key two or three times, it will fire right away. Sometimes if I only cycle the key once or twice it might start, but kind of sputters when it does. Other than this it gives me no problems, no power issues or engine lights of any kind on dash. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
P.S.- changing the fuel pump on those are not fun at all!
