I was happy until.......

Until I drove my wife's 6.0 after it was repaired. Man that thing is fast. So now I'm looking again at more upgrading power mods.
What I have is Stock sticks, turbo with Billet wheel, intercooled, TS 6 and efuel.
I still get 15 to18 LBS boost.
I was to see a strong 20 to 25 and maybe 30.
I have a water injection kit half way built. that should help some.
larger sticks will help. then maybe or replace trurbo.

I wish to not blow up the trans so keeping mods mild if possible.
Suggestion's? Drop a 6.0 drivetrain ? LOL
I was looking at the freaky mod but I am still confused on that. also just replaced all the up pipes and collector.

160/0’s and that hydra should get you in that 325 ballpark of the 6.0. You can add from there if you so wish.

Hare it is! I know all about it. I built an off road buggy with tons of power and I kept replacing everything until one day I said it is cheaper to just over build it the first time. If I blow the trans I will get a good one to replace it. The truck only sees local driving but I want to have the power for the hills when I go play. I should look into a wrecked 6.0 truck and do a body transplant.

I'm completing my work shop this week so I will start tearing down my truck and doing the body , frame and paint. Since I have done my doors 3 times, I hope I have gained enough skill to do the rest of the truck the first time.

Well I just upgraded everything in the 6.0 and it should be good for a very long time. not that the 7.3 has not left me walking more than any other vehicle I have ever owned including my 69 Bug.

LOL I sincerely hope that is what occurs(tho I would never bet on it). I worked on enough 6.0 to never own one and never trust one.

I have never had my 7tree do anything but be stellar.

^ Same here, I would never own a 6.doh too many problems, even when "bullet proof" theres just too many O rings that will leave you stranded.
