Can I replace the shift indicator cable? Mine wasn't quite right so I took the cover off the column to adjust it. After a quick adjustment it seemed to work better, but was not working 100%. It looks like the sheathing on the cable broke, and someone tried to repair it with electrical tape. I put it all back together and tested it and it seemed to work better, but not perfect. Then on a short trip to the farm supply I shifted into D and I heard a loud crack, now the indicator doesn't move.
