2018 5th wheel prep package adapter

Anyone know the dimensions of the 'standard rail' adapter ford accessory? I'm trying to figure out how much higher my hitch (Hensley TS3) will sit in the bed of the truck. Currently I have standard rails that the hitch sets on. The ford accessory is a 'picture frame' affair that sits on top of the 5th wheel pucks in the bed of the truck.

Appreciate any help, Mike

Approx 2"
My reese R16 still sets below the rails and fits under my soft top without issues

Do you know how far it is from the top of the frame to the top of the corrugated truck bed surface?

Thanks, appreciate that. Sounds like it'll raise my hitch a couple of inches or so.

If you haven't already bought one. Hensley (Trailer Saver) makes a Ford adapter plate. I purchased it a few years back for my 26k rigid hitch. It's rated for 6250 pin and 25k trailer. If I remember correctly I think it added somewhere around 2". Give them a call they could probably tell you exactly.

Thanks for the reply L3. I not only don't have any hitch attachments/platforms yet, I don't even have a truck yet!! We currently have a 2012 Duramax 3500HD with a TS3 trailer saver. I'm looking at new trucks and a friend of mine bought a Ford 350 DRW/6.7. Really nice so I'm tryng to figure out what my towing setup would look like for Chev vs. Ford.
