I've got a bay of my shop ready for the glass guy to replace the windshield, weatherstrip/gasket and hatch glass gasket this afternoon. The rain has hampered my home (ahem) improvement project. Did I read right Dave's mechanic graduates today? Congratulations Nicki!

She's already accepted and enrolled for the fall semester at SEMO. So, no time off for her. She's going into Special Education with Autism Spectrum emphasis and snagged every education related scholarship given out tonight. On top of the scholarships, the school superintendent extended a job offer in 4 years after she graduates.

Good evening to everyone (or morning if you read this on the 4th). Helped dad take his tillers to the shop today and used his 05 f150. After driving a 3/4, that 1/2 ton seems like I'm driving a big car down the road. Does anyone else ever have a feeling of safety being inside of a f250 while they'e driving, almost like being in a tank.

Good Morning Everybody!
I just ordered the rotors for EQ. I'll build everything else. They want $700 for front and rear brakes and I can build them for about $140 total. I got one of the engine deflector plates made yesterday. I just have to mount it today and get the other one made today.
Dave. Tell Nikki congrats! It's gonna be quiet in the house, now.

Probably not. Two of her friends that are still in school have already informed us that they're going to be over from time to time to check on us.
My youngest graduates next year and he's got his sights on the Navy and is working on making a go at getting in to the Naval Academy. Jesse will probably be coming home next spring to finish his degree online for a couple of years. Shortly after that, Nikki might be back taking the local school up on its offer.
I'm not sure if we'll ever have an empty nest, but that's just fine with us.
