Well, crap! My brake fittings won't be here until Tuesday. I guess I'll see what else I can get in to for a couple days. I need to do the power steering pump in Tiff's truck, I guess.

Bummer Alan. I sure as heck hope they're the right ones when they do come in.

Does anyone know a brand of fan clutch that works the way they say it will? I changed the one in the dually when I put the new radiator in, but now it seems to be stuck in the engaged mode because I get to listen to the roar of the fan no matter what temperature the engine is at. It's great when I'm towing, but down right annoying in day to day traffic.

Dave. Go to Dodge and get the factory one. It'll cost, but it'll be right.

Good morning Missouri!
Tim made arrangements to pi up Samantha and surprise Shari for Mother's Day, I was really proud of him for doing that. We went out for dinner Saturday evening to Flat Creek Resort in Cape Fair. I'm still full from that place. And I put out #10 of Pork Belly on the smoker for dinner yesterday.
Today I'm double checking with our new insurance, to make sure that my buddies trailer will be covered while it's hooked to the truck. If not then I'm renting a trailer to pull back and forth. We had a short talk about renting a large truck again, but it looks like it'll be Shari and I doing most of the moving, and the thought of carrying stuff up and down that ramp just don't sound like anything that I want to do. The trailer will take longer, but it won't kill me as quick. The worst part, as usual, is moving my Snap On box...
My trailer brake controller should be here today, I have FORScan on my computer, and my USB to OBD2 adapter showed up Saturday. So hopefully, I can get it installed, and activated for the $160 that I'll have in it all, beating Ford's price by over $250!

Unk Bob

Showed him the pic. He is not sure of that working with his power steering. And he said he couldn't afford to work on his a/c at this time, just went through a divorce. Thanks for looking. Bruce

RC, I think I have a filler neck off an 83 laying out there if you think it will work or I can run it down to Alan and let him look at it and see what he thinks. Can't remember if it was a front or rear tank. Bruce

Afternoon everyone!

I couldn't find the correct fittings for the brakes, but I found something that would work with a little machining. I still have bugs to work out, but it's getting there.

That's turning out easier said than done. Apparently it was discontinued some time ago and there's not many OEM units available from reliable sources.

$600.

Seriously, it's the only kit available with enough CFM to be a primary cooling system for the 8.0 liter. I really don't want to tackle a homemade setup on something I'm towing with either.
