I want to upgrade my stock am to an fm but I don’t know how to remove the cluster surround in order to remove the radio itself I know it’s a few philips head screws but how do you get all the ***** off?
The wiper **** has a little flat metal lock tab on the back of the ****. You have to use a small screwdriver and push it forwards towards the **** and then pull on the ****. The headlight switch has a release button on the switch behind the dash. As I recall, it is supposed to be on the bottom, but mine was not that easy.
The radio ***** just pull off. Also there is a small light mounted behind your headlight/ wiper switches that can just be pulled out of the
metal housing, or just squeeze the tabs together to remove..
Both (outer and inner ) ***** pull off, you might or might now have to remove the dash bezel. Depends on is the PO ever removed the radio. Clean the shaft threads and use a deep set socket to get the nuts off. There is a rear support bracket attached to the back of the radio. Walk thru dash bezel removal...https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/s...9&postcount=66
