McDonalds Throws Out Homeless Man for Eating!

Your not going to believe this one.Listen to the police officer, who is supposed to be a public servant claim that she "is the law!"

Despicable.Just despicable. What has happened to that manager that caused his heart to grow so cold? I just don't understand.

Neither the manager or the police officer did anything wrong.

If someone comes into your place of business to panhandle or stage a noisy protest you have the right to make them leave. The law permits you to refuse service for any reason. The only exception is refusing service to a protected class or violating someone's legal rights. But that is for the courts to decide.

Police are there to enforce the law. Not administer justice.

If you think the manager was wrong you can sue the mcdonalds in civil court. Which is what the police officer said to do. Police are not judges. They are not there to determine who was right or wrong. That is the responsibility of the courts.

There is actually a higher value than that of law, that determines right from wrong.

Many people see it very wrong when they see someone ask someone to leave because they are eating simply because they are homeless.Even if the manager has the "right" to ask them to leave,he still did the "wrong" thing. There are a lot of things that a person can or not do,that are legally "right" but this doesn't make them the "right" thing to do.From a legal standpoint, all your comment was correct. If that's all we hang onto though,is basic law, then I'm afraid our standards will be set too low.

Police officers are not the law however, they are enforcers of such.Big difference. She was out of line, claiming a falsehood there.

We have the "right" to eat at much better (or different if we're on the run and must eat slop) joints too.

Except that isn't what happened. No one was kicked out for being homeless. Police were called because the homeless man was panhandling in the parking lot.

That goes both ways. Even if the youtube star did a nice thing by buying a homeless person a meal the way he treated the restaurant employees was wrong and show him to be a jerk.

I guess this is just what "progress" looks like?

Why did McDonalds kick out the homeless guy, eating their burgers? .............They felt bad for him and wanted him to go find some real food in the dumpster out behind the real restaurant across the street.

I just thought of another one lol..........

Why did the manager of Mcdonalds call the police when someone tried to feed a homeless guy there?......Because he knew the homeless dude was having a hard enough time as is and figured he didn't need type 2 diabetes on top of his current troubles.
