Remote start stopped working, engine cranks
The remote start stopped working on my 05 V10 Ex a couple months ago. When I press the button once it just keeps turning over but doesn't start. I think I read somewhere on this forum about it being some sort of wire that is inside the steering column but I didn't see anything in the tech folder although I could have missed it. If I tape the key near the ignition switch and then use the remote start it works perfectly. Is there a thread on here that describes how to repair this? Thanks.

It's a Python 7752P but I thought I read somewhere on the forum that the issue is due to a factory wire (coil?) That is part of the anti theft system that is slipped out of position near the ignition switch preventing the remote from starting the vehicle.
