Has anyone replaced the back glass in a Ford Mustang?
My wife just knocked out the back glass in my 2006 Mustang convertible. The glass alone is $350 and the glass shop will not install it because it has to be sewn in. So I guess I need to find a upholstery shop to do that.
Has anyone experienced this on a similar vehicle? How much did it cost to get its own in? Are there other shops that also install back glass in soft tops? Like dealerships?
I hate the idea of taking into a dealership.A few years ago I saw that an entire top for my Mustang was a little over $1,000 so I also hate paying half that or more to replace a back glass on a 12 year old vertical top
